Cleanroom Operator

The Cleanroom Operator is responsible for performing production and assembly activities in a controlled cleanroom environment. This position works with small, precision electronic components and requires strict adherence to cleanliness, quality, safety, and production procedures.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing and production tasks within a controlled cleanroom environment.
• Handle, assemble, process, and inspect small electronic components and materials.
• Follow detailed work instructions, procedures, and production specifications.
• Wear and properly use required cleanroom garments and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain strict cleanliness and contamination-control standards.
• Operate basic production equipment and machinery as trained.
• Perform visual inspections to identify defects, contamination, or damage.
• Use hand tools, fixtures, and precision equipment as required.
• Accurately complete production paperwork, labels, and quality documentation.
• Maintain proper identification and traceability of materials and components.
• Follow ESD procedures and other environmental controls when required.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Meet established production, quality, and efficiency goals.
• Immediately report quality issues, equipment problems, or material discrepancies to a supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous cleanroom, manufacturing, assembly, inspection, or production experience is a plus.
• Electronics or precision manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with very small components.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.
• Ability to read and follow detailed written work instructions.
• Comfortable wearing cleanroom garments and working in a controlled environment.
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and quality-focused.
