Goodwill Southern California is hiring Clearance Center Lead Associates to support our mission of transforming lives through the power of work. As a Lead, you’ll play a key role in supporting daily operations, developing team members, and ensuring a safe, productive, and customer-focused environment within the clearance center.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support daily operations by assisting with opening, closing, and floor coordination alongside leadership.
  • Train, coach, and support team members to meet production, sales, and service goals.
  • Provide excellent service to customers, donors, and team members while modeling professionalism and positivity.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment by following all company procedures.
  • Support loss prevention and de-escalation practices, reinforcing proper procedures with the team.
  • Oversee donation processing, sorting, pricing, and merchandising to meet company standards.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems and ensure accurate cash handling.
  • Assist with truck processing, product movement, and overall floor operations.
  • Communicate operational issues and escalate concerns to leadership when needed.
  • Work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and support nearby locations as needed.

What You Bring:

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in basic English.
  • Some retail, sales, or leadership experience preferred.
  • Comfort using POS systems, computers, and basic technology.
  • Ability to support, coach, and guide team members in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate day-to-day operational challenges.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently when needed.
  • Ability to work with diverse teams and engage with the public.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.
