Responsibilities:

Noblis is seeking to hire an AI/ML Engineer (Multiple Levels) with an ACTIVE Top Secret with SCI and Polygraph in Chantilly, VA

 

As an experienced AI/ML Engineer with our team, you will be working with our federal clients to rapidly develop innovative solutions for our clients’ immediate mission challenges with a focus on developing ML models. In your role, you will work on teams with other data scientists, software developers, and SMEs to apply the best practices and state of the art data science and machine learning processes. In this position, you will develop rapid prototype solutions to mission challenges by leveraging existing open-source models and technologies. Sample topic areas may include object detection, data triage, search/optimization, image/video analysis, facial recognition, behavior detection, and automated discovery.

 

Job Resposibilities:

  • Develop Innovative solutions with a focus on ML models
  • Apply the best practices and state of the art data science and machine learning processes.
  • Translate business or product requirements into ML solutions
  • Design and implement feature engineering pipelines

  • Deploy models into multe-node Ray clusters
  • Work with large datasets and support Linux and Windows environment

Required Qualifications:
  • US Citizenship is required
  • Active TS/SCI  with Polygraph
  • Experience working professionally in a Data Science or Development environment within the IC space(s).
  • Experience developing and using agentic AI frameworks including Autogen.
  • Experience with prompt engineering beyond traditional code writing and debugging. Understanding of how to craft prompts for discrete tasks such as data labeling and processing.
  • Experience with asynchronous Python development using frameworks like Ray and FastAPI.
  • Experience developing and deploying AI/ML models as part of production systems, implementing software development best practices for scalability and reliability.
  • Experience developing and applying advanced machine learning methods including clustering, regression, optimization, recommender engines, and artificial neural networks.
  • Deploying models into multi-node Ray clusters utilizing various GPU resources.
  • Experience with developing and deploying resources to cloud environments.
  • Experience working in Linux and Windows environments and managing resources for efficiency.
  • Experience or knowledge of:
    • Python
    • Ray and FastAPI
    • Autogen and other agentic frameworks
    • PyTorch, Tensorflow, Keras, and Scikit
    • Experience using CUDA and NVIDIA GPU accelerated libraries 
  • Mid Level
    • Bachelor's degree OR Master's degree with 3 - 5 years of experience OR Associate degree with 6-8 years OR High School 9-11years.
    • Compensation range: $109,800 - $171,525
  • Senior Level:
    • Bachelor's degree OR Master's degree with 5 - 8 years of experience OR Associate degree with 8+ years OR High School 11+ years.
    • Compensation range: $132,900 - $207,050

Desired skills and knowledge:

  • Understanding of MCP Tool calling and its use as part of an agentic workflow.
  • The engineer has familiarity with industry best practices for software/hardware optimization specifically related to running ML models of GPUs.
  • Experience working with cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure.
  • STEM degree in computer science, statistics, data analytics, computer engineering, mathematics, etc.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.


Posted Salary Range: USD $109,800.00 - USD $207,750.00 /Yr.
