Cleared System Engineer

My client is an employee first company in the Aerospace/Defense industry, is seeking a Systems Engineer to drive mission-critical solutions from design through deployment. Youll ensure seamless integration of hardware, software, and networks to support customer objectives while collaborating across teams to deliver reliable, high-performing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex systems aligned with technical requirements.
• Gather and translate system requirements into actionable specifications.
• Integrate technical capabilities into overarching system architecture, ensuring alignment with project milestones.
• Install and configure system hardware, operating systems, and applications.
• Perform system integration, testing, and troubleshooting to verify functionality.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Provide technical support and guidance to resolve system-related challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in systems engineering or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in designing and deploying complex systems architecture.
• Expertise in hardware, operating systems, networks, software applications, and cloud platforms.
• Experience with integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage tasks independently and effectively.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters degree in engineering or a related field.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Kubernetes) and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
• Customer-facing or consulting experience.
