POSITION Clerical Aide III
Position Type: Temporary Schedule: M-T, 6:00 am - 4:00 pm Assignment Length: Approximately 6-Months, possibly Longer.
DESCRIPTION
Our client is seeking a reliable and motivated Clerical Aide III to join their team. This role involves performing complex clerical tasks under minimal supervision and requires strong organizational and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing material requests, assisting with warehouse operations, and entering data into financial systems. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment while providing essential administrative support to our client's operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Provide direct customer service at the warehouse service window, assisting staff and visitors with their inquiries and requests.
Documenting Materials Requests and Distribution: Accurately document materials requests and track their distribution to ensure proper handling and inventory management.
Data Entry: Enter warehouse tickets into the financial system accurately. Training will be provided to familiarize the candidate with the specific financial software used.
Clerical Support: Perform a variety of clerical duties including sorting, filing, and routing documents, as well as preparing forms and correspondence.
Office Equipment Operation: Use office machines such as copiers, fax machines, and scanners to assist with daily tasks.
Communication: Answer telephones, take messages, and provide information to staff and external parties. Serve as a point of contact for internal departments, vendors, and the public.
Miscellaneous Clerical Tasks: Assist with processing and maintaining accounting records, data entry, and preparing reports as required.
REQUIREMENTS
Ability to perform general clerical duties such as filing, answering telephones, and sorting documents.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work closely with other employees in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to file and organize documents in alphabetical, numerical, and chronological order.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Willingness to learn new systems and processes; training will be provided for specific tasks.
High School Diploma
Must Pass a Background
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with basic office equipment such as copiers and fax machines.
Experience with data entry or financial systems (training will be provided).
