Minimum rate of pay: $16.92

Summary

Performs general clerical functions for management team. Provides support for personnel record maintenance, e.g., processing paperwork, filing, record audits. May provide back-up for various staff, e.g., Office Manager, Receptionist. Participates in departmental projects and quality improvement initiatives.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1-2years general office experience required, preferably in a health care setting.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs clerical functions in an accurate and timely manner, including word processing.
  • Maintains personnel files; processes Human Resources paperwork; performs personnel record audits to assure completeness and accurateness.
  • Takes responsibility for clerical support of departmental projects, e.g., revision of policy manuals.
  • Participates in performance improvement activities; inputs data for client service questionnaire.
  • Participates in orientation and training of new employees.
  • Obtains and distributes beepers for all staff.
  • Acts as a resource to staff regarding clerical functions and general office information.
  • Takes and transcribes minutes of various staff and branch meetings.
