Job Summary:

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Clerical Assistant Milk Tech for our NICU Unit located within the Edgewood Hospital.

Shift/Hours: Full-Time – PRN

The NICU Milk Tech/Clinical Assistant (NMT) is located within Maternal Child Health Nursing Division and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This position is responsible for the preparation and delivery of all infant feedings. The NMT will work day/evening and night shifts and weekends on a rotational basis, as needed.  The individual will utilize safe and sanitary preparation methods. Demonstrates respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.

Education, Credentials, Licenses:

High School Graduate or equivalent.

Successful Completion of Milk Technician Competency.

Specialized Knowledge: 

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Computer literate.
