General Role and Responsibilities
Support district-wide elementary initiatives and compliance requirements. Coordinate communication across schools and departments. Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems in accordance with district records retention policies. Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
General Skills and Qualifications
Demonstrated proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft office applications. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities with minimal supervision. Knowledge of job details and requirements sufficient to perform all duties.
Specific Responsibilities in This Position
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and prepare agendas for department meetings, committees, and professional development sessions. Draft format and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports. Support textbook adoption process, curriculum initiatives, and assessments. Track deadlines and submissions for state and district reporting. Serve as a primary point of contact for principals, staff, parents, and vendors. Assist with purchasing requisitions, invoices, and budget tracking. Coordinate logistics for district events, including room reservations and attendance tracking.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree or coursework in office administration, business, or a related field preferred. Minimum of three years of progressively responsible clerical or administrative experience, preferably in a school or public sector.

Physical Requirements
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Ability to operate standard office equipment, computer, copier, printer, phone. Ability to lift and carry materials up to 25 pounds. Manual dexterity sufficient for clerical tasks.
