Overview of Position
This positions responsibilities are, under general supervision, to provide clerical support to assigned school site or central administration personnel; communicate information to staff and the public; provide complete and accurate records; and provide information and/or direction as may be requested.

Reports to assigned supervisor, manager or administrator.

RESPONSIBILITY:
Responsibilities include: working under direct supervision using standardized routines; providing information and/or advising others; and operating within a defined budget. Utilization of some resources from other work units may be required to perform the jobs functions. There is a continual opportunity to have some impact on the Organizations services
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
The usual and customary methods of performing the jobs functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 40% sitting, 30% walking, and 30% standing. This job is performed in a generally clean and healthy environment.

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
CERTIFICATES & LICENSES:
Valid State of Washington Drivers License

Background Clearance
Hourly staff accrue sick leave at the rate of 1:40 per the Washington Paid Sick Leave law; eligible for health benefits after 630 hours under conditions of the School Employees Benefits Board through the state of Washington.
This position is not eligible for Health benefits.
