Clerk 3 - Facilities & Construction (Fire Rescue)

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED. Two years of advanced clerical experience are required. Completion of college coursework may substitute for the required work experience on a year-for-year basis.

Preferences

Knowledge of MS Office Suite (particularly MS Outlook, Word, and Excel) is preferred.

Recruitment Notes

The incumbent will be tasked with the clerical functions of the Facilities and Construction Division -Goods & Services Administrative Staff, to include but not limited to the following: Assists with the clerical administrative functions of the bureau as it pertains to maintenance, Creating system receipts for vendors Invoices, Routinely communicating with internal Finance Division regarding Receipts and/or Invoices, Fielding vendors phone calls and emails, Generating and Tracking system Requisitions for commodities needed at existing and new fire stations, Routinely communicating with internal Procurement Division regarding Requisitions, plus additional tasks and duties as assigned. Provides administrative support to the division when needed. Performs related work as required.
