Clerk 3 (Solid Waste)

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED. Two years of advanced clerical experience are required. Completion of college coursework may substitute for the required work experience on a year-for-year basis.

Recruitment Notes

The Clerk 3 position will be assigned to the Mosquito Control Division of the Department of Solid Waste Management and performs a variety of advanced clerical and administrative support functions. Primary duties include performing procurement-related activities and utilizing the INFORMS system to process and track divisional purchasing requests. The position entails monitoring and maintaining supply inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels to support daily operations for the Mosquito Control Division.

This role coordinates with the procurement and distribution of employee uniforms and safety shoes, including tracking orders, maintaining records, and working with vendors as needed. Additionally, this position assists with budget preparation and tracking, including compiling data, maintaining documentation, and supporting divisional fiscal activities.
