Job Summary
The Office of Graduate Programs is seeking a Clerk A position to provide assistance at the front desk of the department. The Office of Graduate Programs requires someone who is reliable, personable, and eager to learn.
Responsibilities*
Greet and direct walk-in visitors and answer phones
Clerical duties including:
assembling of recruitment materials
processing mail, faxes and forms
using a scanner to image documents and link to student records
preparing mailings
copying
filing
using a computer to enter data
Occasionally assist with recruitment events
Maintain a neat and orderly reception area
Other related duties as assigned

Modes of Work
Onsite
The work requires, or the supervisor approves a fully onsite presence. Onsite is defined as a designated U-M owned or leased work locaton within or outside of the State of Michigan.
Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the work modes.
Background Screening
