CLERK, ACCOUNTING CASH APPLICATIONS

Position summary:Responsible for timely and accurate posting of payments on patients accounts; performs necessary analyses and reconciliation of all cash posted. Performs processing/reconciliation of payer electronic remittance and E.F.T. data. Researches and resolves any payment posting issues/discrepancies. Supports the concept of the hospital values as developed. May perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and/or accounting; Microsoft applications knowledge; basic analytical skills; ability to work well independently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Four years account receivable experience; 10 key by touch. Salary range: $23.00 - $28.72Salary will be commensurate with experience.
