Description
This role assists visitors in the office, answers phones, answers questions and educates taxpayers on the process of appealing and exemptions available along with he qualifications for them.
Examples of Duties
Greeting and assisting customers and patrons upon entering the office.
Assisting taxpayers in the process of appealing and with paperwork needed for exemptions.
Directing people to the correct department.
Answering telephones, responding to visitors, direct them or assist them with the functions of our office, appeals, exemptions, etc
Must be able to handle difficult people.
Time management
Organizational skills
Focus on details
Organizational skills. Filing neatly and orderly.
Putting things in numeric order.
Use of Microsoft office.
Typical Qualifications
Dealing with unhappy customers in a calm manor and educating them on Exemptions and the Real Estate tax process.
Excellent Listening skills, communication skills.
Good phone etiquette.
Good customer service.
Patience with the public.
