Responsibilities:
- Schedules outpatient diagnostic exams over the phone with physician offices and with patients.
- Responsible for indexing incoming orders and transferring faxes to other departments as necessary.
- Responsible for insuring supporting documentation, ICD-10 codes are received to support Medical Necessity for scheduled procedure.
- Management of add on or STAT procedures.
- Provides CPT codes to physician offices to assist with obtaining prior authorization.
Qualifications:
Education
- High school education or equivalent.
- College degree preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Experience
- One to two years in a medical office or business office.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology required.
- Working knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 codes.

Compensation/Benefits
- $15.46-$25.24/hr depending on previous work experience.
