This position serves as the welcoming face of the Health Services Building, greeting visitors, assisting customers, and entering patient information into the Electronic Medical Records system. The role includes verifying appointment details, confirming insurance, applying a sliding scale fee, and providing education on all Public Health services. This includes helping customers purchase Radon kits and assisting with dog license applications.
In addition, this position supports the Office Tech II with a wide range of clerical and administrative tasks related to grants, billing, and documentation. Responsibilities include typing, data entry, filing, answering phones, greeting the public, and scheduling appointments for staff across the department. Strong proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and electronic medical records systems is required.
