Job Summary:


The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting efficient warehouse operations through cycle counting, transactional accuracy, and material movement. Based out of the Vancouver, WA warehouse, this role directly supports the Battle Ground, WA manufacturing plant by ensuring timely receipt, storage, picking, and transfer of materials. This role also contributes to continuous improvement initiatives and general warehouse operations and duties. The Inventory Control Clerk works a M-Th 6:30 AM - 4 PM, F 6:30 AM - 10:30 AM schedule, with potential for mandatory overtime.


Job Responsibilities:


+ Conduct part cycle counts according to established process which requires attention to detail and proficient data entry.


+ Make inventory adjustments and transfers as needed to correct errors found by the cycle count.


+ Work closely with plant planners and schedulers to ensure inventory and transactional accuracy.


+ Work closely with all group leads, planning, QA, and engineering to deliver product on time and efficiently.


+ Manually receive parts (Trucks, UPS, Fed Ex, etc.), pick parts and transfer parts to proper locations in AS4000 and deliver items to production facility on carts and pallets.


+ Drive continuous improvement through 5S standards.


+ Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment which requires prioritization and often changing tasks frequently and quickly.


+ Keeping inventory of all components entering and exiting the warehouse through AS400.


+ Replenish stock with ability to multi-task with safety and quality in mind.


+ Work closely with Lead/Supervisor to investigate part discrepancies.


+ Works well independently with little or no supervision.


+ Coordinate returned parts back to warehouse.


+ Manage inventory of obsolete parts and coordinate disposal as instructed.


+ Keep a clean and organized work environment.


+ Fulfill other misc. Lead/Supervisor assignments.


Skills & Knowledge:


+ HS Diploma or GED required; 2 years college preferred


+ 3 yrs. warehouse experience preferred


+ Driver’s license required.


+ Proficient computer skills with knowledge of AS400, Excel, Word and Outlook.


+ Communication skills – ability to communicate and work well with others.


+ Safety, accuracy minded and detail oriented.


+ Must be able to prioritize workload


+ Forklift and Riding pallet jack experience preferred.


+ Must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, work overtime with little or no notice.


Physical Requirements:


+ This job requires you to lift/carry up to 50 lbs, bend, twist, turn, kneel, squat, reach overhead, perform strong pinch and grip, push-pull up to 100 lbs, and stand/walk up to 10 hours per day.


Work Environment:


+ A majority of work time is spent in a warehouse where temperatures range from warm to cool and noise level can be moderate to high.


This role is a Grade 3, hourly role. The pay range for this position is $21.01 - $25.71.


Base Pay Range:


$21.01 - $25.71
