Job Description
We are seeking a Client Administrator to administer a defined book of institutional business with emphasis on client service and daily administration. The role will develop and maintain knowledge of institutional asset services and products, keep clients informed of updates, and support Relationship Managers in client retention and process improvement. The Client Administrator will serve as the first point of contact for servicing needs, including transaction execution and processing, while ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary contact for institutional clients and front-office staff for inquiries, servicing needs, and transaction processing.
- Independently research and resolve client inquiries in a timely manner and communicate appropriately with clients and third parties.
- Monitor accounts to ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Administer and oversee legal, ERISA, reporting, and issue-resolution aspects across trust/custody, corporate escrow, benefit disbursements, investment management, and commercial bank services.
- Proactively service assigned clients to drive satisfaction, retention, and growth of the book of business.
- Identify and describe client problems, coordinate with operations partners to resolve, and provide closure to clients.
- Coordinate service issues across product lines and establish effective rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
- Interpret client requirements, work within approved product offerings, and construct solutions to meet client needs.
- Assist in administration of qualified plans, master trust custody, non-profit, and investment management accounts.
- Eliminate charge-offs and cash processing errors by executing transactions in accordance with procedures.
- Review and manage daily cash reports for overdrafts and uninvested cash and ensure appropriate investment of available balances.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in institutional client service within trust, custody, escrow, or investment operations.
- Knowledge of ERISA, fiduciary standards, and regulatory frameworks applicable to institutional accounts.
- Proficiency in cash processing, reconciliations, and daily cash management reporting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across product and operations teams.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and client issue resolution skills.
- Attention to detail and adherence to documented procedures and controls.
Preferred Skills:
- Background supporting Relationship Managers in institutional banking or asset servicing.
- Experience with qualified plan administration, master trust platforms, or benefit disbursement processing.
