Client Billing Specialist

Own authorizations, claims, and accounts receivable so families get accurate billing and clinicians can keep delivering care.

Compensation: $19–$23 per hour

Locations: Saint George, Utah

What will you do

• Verify client eligibility and benefits and obtain insurance authorizations.
  
• Follow up on claims, including appealing denied claims.
  
• Post insurance and patient payments and process refunds.
  
• Calculate client responsibility and communicate co-pays and balances.
  
• Handle charge posting and insurance billing.
  
• Answer billing questions from clients, providers, and staff.
  

Qualifications

• Two years minimum experience in medical billing, insurance, and collections.
  
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 behavioral health coding.
  
• Familiarity with mental health and ABA terminology.
  
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and electronic health records.
  
• High school diploma or equivalent.
  
• Spanish is a plus.
