Client Care Coordinator

Veterinary Eye Center Long Island City is a specialty practice focused exclusively on animal eye care. Located in the heart of Queens at 5 Court Square, our hospital offers advanced diagnostics and surgical treatments in a modern, highly accessible facility. The clinic is easily accessible via the 7, E, G, and M subway lines, ensuring convenience for clients throughout New York City. We’re known for our collaborative approach, working closely with referring veterinarians to provide thoughtful, high-quality care and exceptional client service.

We’re seeking an experienced Client Care Coordinator to join our team. The Client Care Coordinator is the first and last point of contact for our clients and is the face of our practice. You will work closely with our dedicated clinical staff and be a capable ambassador for the organization to the public, our clients, and to the professional community.

What You’ll Do:

• Greet clients and patients, deliver best in class customer service, and ensure all client questions are answered in an informative and friendly manner
• Communicate and collaborate with colleagues regarding patient care and client questions
• Document communications and conversations
• Manage the appointment schedule
• Receive payments for services rendered and oversee daily financial reconciliation
• Perform intake and discharge duties
• Perform general administrative duties
• Answer multiple phone lines
• Maintain common areas

What We Require:

• 2+ years of experience in a customer service or client facing role (Veterinary Preferred)
• Monday - Friday availability (You will work 4 10-hr shifts per week with rotating days off mid week)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfort working around all types of dogs and cats
• Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
• Adaptability and focus in a busy environment
• A passion for animals

• The salary range for this role is: $20 - $24/hr
• No weekends, No ‘on-call’ shifts
