Job description: As a Program Architect, you will work with project teams in a dynamic, rapid-growth work environment with bright and talented engineers, architects, designers, builders, crafters, and manufacturers to improve and deploy a prototype building program and to build an alternative to the traditional construction industry. From desk to factory floor to job sites and client meetings, you will be challenged to develop your skills in a new field, taking a critical role in project delivery via the DMC methodology

Position Overview
We are seeking a Client Executive to drive market expansion, develop strategic client relationships, and support long-term revenue growth within a designated industry vertical. This role combines new business development with strategic account management, with approximately 50% of the focus dedicated to generating new opportunities and 50% dedicated to growing and expanding existing client relationships.
The Client Executive will identify and pursue new business opportunities, cultivate executive-level partnerships, lead pursuit strategies, and help translate client needs into scalable project delivery solutions. This individual will work closely with commercial, design, estimating, manufacturing, construction, and project delivery teams to ensure successful project execution and long-term client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Market Growth
  • Identify, pursue, and develop new client opportunities within the assigned market sector.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified prospects, strategic accounts, and revenue opportunities.
  • Develop capture plans and go-to-market strategies in partnership with commercial leadership and marketing teams.
  • Lead and support proposal development, RFP responses, presentations, and pursuit strategies.
  • Represent the organization at client meetings, industry conferences, networking events, and business development activities.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, client capital investment plans, and demand forecasts.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities where innovative project delivery solutions can create value.
  • Convert prospects into long-term client relationships and repeat business opportunities.

Client Relationship Management & Account Growth
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned clients and strategic accounts.
  • Build and maintain executive-level, operational, and project-level client relationships.
  • Drive client satisfaction, retention, repeat business, and account expansion.
  • Understand client goals, capital planning initiatives, operational challenges, decision-making processes, and future project pipelines.
  • Translate client needs into program solutions, delivery strategies, and commercial opportunities.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure client expectations are understood and successfully delivered.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for additional services and program expansion.
  • Support issue resolution and executive communication throughout the client lifecycle.

Strategic Solution Development
  • Collaborate with design, manufacturing, estimating, construction, and project management teams to align solutions with market and client needs.
  • Help shape scalable delivery models, product offerings, cost strategies, and program approaches.
  • Provide market intelligence and client feedback to improve competitiveness and enhance service offerings.
  • Support pricing strategy, margin analysis, risk assessment, and capacity planning for strategic pursuits.
  • Ensure new opportunities align with operational capabilities, resource availability, backlog objectives, and growth plans.

Leadership & Reporting
  • Provide regular updates regarding pipeline activity, pursuit status, client health, forecasting, and revenue opportunities.
  • Partner with leadership to align business development efforts with operational readiness and delivery capacity.
  • Participate in executive reviews, strategic planning sessions, and account growth discussions.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity, client, and pipeline data within CRM systems.
  • Serve as the voice of the client internally, advocating for client needs while balancing operational and financial objectives.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in business development, strategic account management, client relationship management, construction, real estate development, program management, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated success developing new business opportunities and growing strategic client relationships.
  • Experience supporting complex clients, multi-site programs, capital projects, or large-scale development initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of one or more target markets, including data centers, healthcare, retail, financial services, or similar commercial sectors.
  • Proven experience leading pursuits, proposals, presentations, negotiations, and executive-level client engagements.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including pipeline management, forecasting, pricing strategy, contract awareness, and margin management.
  • Experience collaborating with estimating, operations, manufacturing, design, engineering, construction, and project delivery teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate, or a related discipline preferred.
