This role oversees a team responsible for client intake, referral processing, and insurance verification, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery for children and families. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in healthcare intake, patient access, case coordination, or medical front office leadership. Key ResponsibilitiesLead, hire, train, and supervise Intake Coordinators and Insurance VerifierOversee daily intake operations, including referrals, data entry, and insurance verificationEnsure all intakes are completed accurately and entered into required systemsMonitor timelines, including 45-day compliance for eligibility evaluationsAssign intake cases and ensure timely follow-up with families and referral sourcesCommunicate program services and guide families through enrollment and documentationMaintain accurate electronic and paper records in compliance with regulationsManage staff schedules, timekeeping, and performance reviewsEnsure adherence to organizational policies and state/program requirementsSupport staff development, coaching, and team performanceTravel as needed to support remote employees QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredExperience in healthcare intake, patient registration, insurance verification, or care coordinationPrevious supervisory or team lead experienceStrong communication, customer service, and leadership skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database systemsKnowledge of insurance processes, Medicaid, or medical intake workflowsAbility to meet our approved driver qualifications in order to drive your personal vehicle, as required, for program-related needs (minimum age of 21 and good driving history) Easterseals Florida has been rated a Great Place to Work (2020 - 2025) by our employees!
