Every day, families call us in one of the hardest moments of their lives. They're scared, overwhelmed, and unsure what to do next. Your job is to be the calm, confident voice on the other end of the line — the person who listens deeply, earns their trust quickly, and guides them to the right decision for their loved one.
This is not a passive customer service role. You are the first impression of Visiting Angels and the person responsible for converting qualified inquiries into clients. You'll need the empathy of a caregiver and the confidence of a closer — someone who knows when to listen and when to lead.
What You'll Do
- Answer inbound inquiry calls from prospective clients and their families with warmth, professionalism, and confidence — treating every call like it could be your own parent reaching out.
- Conduct in-home consultations across Seminole County, West Volusia and Apopka, assessing care needs and building personalized care plans that families feel good about.
- Guide families through their decision with honesty and care — overcoming hesitation, addressing concerns, and helping them take the next step when care is clearly the right choice.
- Follow up consistently with prospective clients who haven't yet committed, building relationships that convert over time.
- Maintain accurate client files and documentation in our CRM and scheduling systems.
- Participate in our on-call rotation, providing after-hours support to clients, caregivers, and referral partners.
- Coordinate closely with our scheduling and care management teams to ensure a seamless handoff from signed client to first day of care.
Who You Are
The right candidate for this role has done something like this before — guided someone through a difficult or emotional decision and helped them get to yes. That might look like:
- Experience in senior living, assisted living, hospice, or home health intake — you understand the care world and aren't afraid of hard conversations.
- A background in a consultative or relationship-based role where following up and closing were part of the job.
- Strong verbal communication skills — you can connect with a worried adult child, build trust in minutes, and project confidence without being pushy.
- Self-motivation and follow-through — you don't let leads go cold and you take ownership of your conversion rate.
- Comfort with CRM tools, scheduling software, and organized documentation.
- Reliable transportation, a valid Florida driver's license, and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a Level 2 background check.
