Client Onboarding Analyst - Boston, MA

We are seeking candidates for a Client Onboarding Analyst position with a leading financial services firm located in Boston, MA. The Client Onboarding Analyst will support the onboarding process throughout the client onboarding lifecycle, assisting with documentation management, onboarding workstreams, status tracking, and stakeholder coordination. The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ yrs of experience in client onboarding, operations, or middle office within financial services. 

This is a 12-month contract position that will pay $40-43/hr (depending on experience) within a 40-hour workweek. This position supports a hybrid work model in their Boston office. 

Responsibilities:

  • Support client onboarding activities with a focus on Equity Swaps and Financing Solutions.

  • Collect, review, and maintain onboarding documentation and account setup materials.

  • Coordinate onboarding workflows, track milestones, and provide status updates.

  • Partner with Front Office, Operations, Risk, Credit, Compliance, AML/KYC, and Legal teams to ensure timely onboarding.

  • Prepare onboarding reports, maintain accurate records, and assist with post-onboarding support.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • 3 - 5+ years of experience in client onboarding, account onboarding, middle office, or investment operations within financial services.

  • Experience supporting derivatives, equity swaps, securities finance, prime services, or capital markets products.

  • Knowledge of client onboarding, account opening, OTC derivatives, and collateral management.

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Operations, Risk, Compliance, Credit, AML/KYC, and Legal.

  • Strong organizational, project coordination, and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
