Job Description
Paragon Wealth Management is looking for a recent college graduate or early-career professional who wants to develop a broad foundation in financial services, client operations, business advisory services, and accounting.
This is a unique entry-level opportunity for someone who is organized, personable, analytical, and interested in learning how different areas of a financial-services business operate.
Support for the CPA, CFP®, CFA, or another relevant professional credential may be available.
This is a full-time, in-office position in Doylestown. Some additional hours may be required during tax season.
Job Responsibilities
The associate will primarily support Paragon Wealth Management with:
- Client-service requests and follow-up items
- Preparation for client meetings
- Internal reporting and recordkeeping
- Workflow management and general operations
- Investment research, portfolio reporting, and asset-management projects, depending on the candidate’s analytical skills and interests
Depending on the associate’s performance, interests, and demonstrated abilities, the position may develop toward:
- Financial advising
- Investment research and portfolio analysis
- Bookkeeping and accounting
- Tax planning and business consulting
- Outsourced controller or CFO services

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, economics, or a related field preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable working with clients and providing responsive, professional service
- Highly organized and attentive to detail
- Able to identify problems and work toward practical solutions
- Capable of working independently after receiving appropriate training
- Takes ownership of responsibilities and follows through
- Curious, analytical, and willing to learn
- Able to manage multiple responsibilities and adjust priorities as business needs change
- Able to handle confidential personal and financial information with discretion
Experience with Excel, QuickBooks, bookkeeping, tax software, financial analysis, or investment research is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right person.
