Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES- Troubleshoot escalated macOS and ChromeOS issues that require deeper platform expertise.
- Administer endpoint devices through an MDM platform such as Jamf or FleetDM.
- Maintain device configurations, security settings, and application policies.
- Test macOS updates and coordinate controlled, staged deployments.
- Manage Google Workspace groups, applications, devices, and Chrome policies.
- Support software packaging and distribution across employee devices.
- Maintain technical documentation and record repeatable troubleshooting procedures.
- Participate in Git-based configuration reviews and change workflows.
Role Requirements:- Roughly two to four years of experience in endpoint engineering, client platform engineering, or corporate IT.
- Strong hands-on macOS administration and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience managing devices through Jamf, FleetDM, or a comparable MDM platform.
- Google Workspace administration experience.
- Exposure to ChromeOS device management or Chrome policy administration.
- Ability to independently investigate complex endpoint problems.
- Strong written communication and technical documentation skills.
- Experience working with Git.
- Ability to work effectively with Service Desk and engineering teams.
- Ability to work without employer sponsorship.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE- Experience with Munki or AutoPkg.
- Experience packaging applications for macOS.
- SaltStack or similar configuration-management experience.
- osquery or comparable endpoint-visibility experience.
- Microsoft Intune, Windows endpoint, or VDI experience.
