Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

Troubleshoot escalated macOS and ChromeOS issues that require advanced platform and root-cause analysis.
Engineer and administer endpoint devices through MDM platforms such as Jamf, FleetDM, or comparable enterprise solutions.
Build, maintain, and automate device configurations, security settings, application policies, and endpoint-management workflows.
Use Bash, Python, PowerShell, APIs, or similar technologies to automate repetitive endpoint-management processes.
Apply infrastructure-as-code practices to endpoint and MDM configurations using Git-based workflows.
Participate in Git branches, pull requests, peer reviews, testing, and controlled promotion of configuration changes into production.
Test macOS updates and coordinate controlled, staged deployments across the endpoint fleet.
Manage Google Workspace groups, applications, devices, Chromebooks, Chrome extensions, and browser policies.
Package, test, deploy, and maintain applications across managed employee devices.
Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort, recurring incidents, deployment time, and operational errors through automation.
Maintain technical documentation and create repeatable troubleshooting procedures for Service Desk and engineering teams.
Use generative AI tools responsibly to improve technical workflows while maintaining human review and validation of production-ready outputs.

Role Requirements:

5+ years of technical experience managing enterprise client platforms or endpoint environments at scale.
Deep hands-on macOS administration, engineering, and troubleshooting experience.
Strong MDM engineering experience with Jamf, FleetDM, or a comparable enterprise MDM platform.
Experience managing MDM policies, configurations, enrollment, software deployment, troubleshooting, and device lifecycle processes.
Hands-on scripting or programming experience with Bash, Python, PowerShell, or a comparable language.
Demonstrated experience building code-oriented automation for endpoint or client-platform processes.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code principles and configuration management.
Strong Git experience, including branches, pull requests, code reviews, testing, and controlled production changes.
Ability to apply automation and infrastructure-as-code practices directly to endpoint, MDM, or client-platform environments.
Google Workspace administration experience.
Experience managing ChromeOS devices, Chromebooks, Chrome extensions, or enterprise Chrome browser policies.
Ability to independently investigate and root-cause complex endpoint issues that have been escalated beyond Tier 1 or Tier 2 support.
Strong written communication and technical documentation skills.
Ability to work effectively across Service Desk, engineering, security, and infrastructure teams.
Ability to work without employer sponsorship.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Experience with Munki or AutoPkg.
Experience packaging, testing, and deploying applications for macOS.
SaltStack or similar configuration-management experience.
osquery or comparable endpoint-visibility and fleet-querying experience.
Experience automating MDM or endpoint-management platforms through APIs.
Microsoft Intune experience.
Windows endpoint or VDI application-packaging experience.
Experience supporting a broad endpoint environment across macOS, Windows, ChromeOS, iOS, and Android.
Experience measuring the impact of automation through reductions in manual work, ticket volume, deployment time, errors, or operational cost.
Experience using generative AI tools such as Gemini, Glean, Claude Code, ChatGPT, or comparable platforms in technical workflows with appropriate human validation.
