This growing wealth management firm is looking for a Client Service Associate to join its Bethesda team. You'll work closely with experienced industry professionals while gaining broader exposure to client relationships, investment account operations, custodial processes, cashiering and money movement.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Prepare and process new investment account applications
• 
  
• Support cashiering and client money movement, including wires, journals, transfers and distributions
• 
  
• Handle ongoing investment account maintenance
• 
  
• Assist with bank links, beneficiary changes and POA updates
• 
  
• Support retirement account activity, including RMDs
• 
  
• Work within Fidelity and/or Schwab custodial systems
• 
  
• Utilize Orion or other wealth management fintech/operations platforms
• 
  
• Work directly with clients by phone and email to handle service requests and account needs
• 
  
• Follow up on outstanding documentation and time-sensitive requests
• 
  
• Coordinate with Wealth Advisors, custodians and Client Service team members
• 
  
• Maintain accurate client and account records
• 
  
• Assist with reports and other client meeting materials
• 
  
• Provide light Bethesda office support, including mail, printing and occasional visitors
• 
  

Qualifications

• 
  
• 1–3+ years of experience within an RIA, independent wealth management or investment advisory environment
• 
  
• Hands-on experience with Fidelity and/or Schwab custodial systems
• 
  
• Hands-on experience with Orion or a comparable wealth management fintech/operations platform
• 
  
• Experience working directly with clients one-on-one
• 
  
• Experience with wealth management client/account operations such as new account opening, account maintenance, transfers, cashiering, distributions or money movement
• 
  
• Working knowledge of investment and retirement accounts, including Traditional and Roth IRAs, 401(k)s, taxable accounts, joint accounts, trusts, beneficiaries and RMDs
• 
  
• Strong client-service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• 
  
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
• 
  
• Bachelor's degree
•
