Akkodis is seeking a Client Service Delivery Lead for a Contract job with a client in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java development, Spring Boot, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and technical team leadership, along with a proven ability to design, build, and support scalable enterprise applications.

Rate Range: $72/hour to $74/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Client Service Delivery Lead Job Responsibilities Include:

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable backend applications, RESTful APIs, and microservices using Java and Spring Boot technologies.

• Provide hands-on technical leadership by mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, establishing engineering standards, and guiding development activities through implementation and production support.

• Design and implement cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform utilizing services such as GKE, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, IAM, Secret Manager, and Cloud Monitoring tools.

• Develop integrations with internal and external systems while supporting distributed, event-driven, and microservices-based application architectures.

• Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, containerization strategies using Docker, and application observability solutions including monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting capabilities.

• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, support reliability initiatives, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of ten years of experience in custom Java software development and enterprise application engineering.

• At least five years of hands-on experience developing applications using Spring Boot and modern microservices architectures.

• A minimum of three years of experience building and supporting applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience utilizing Google Pub/Sub and other messaging technologies to support asynchronous processing and event-driven application architectures.

• Supply chain, logistics, retail, or distribution industry experience is preferred but not required.

• Strong understanding of SQL, relational databases, query optimization, and enterprise data integration practices.

• Experience supporting DevOps initiatives including CI/CD automation, infrastructure automation, Docker containerization, and cloud deployment pipelines.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams consisting of architects, QA engineers, DevOps teams, product owners, and business stakeholders.

Pay Details: $72.00 to $74.00 per hour
