Salish Insurance Group is a family-oriented agency in downtown Edmonds serving personal and commercial lines clients. We're looking for an early-career professional ready to launch a career in business. You'll learn insurance from the ground up, help clients, keep the office running, and be the face of our agency in the community and online. We provide training and a clear path to grow.
What you'll do
- Answer and route calls, help clients with routine questions, and connect them with the right team member
- Service policies as an entry-level CSR, processing billing changes, endorsements, and renewals accurately and on time
- Schedule producer appointments and manage the office calendar so reviews, new business, and renewals don't slip
- Plan and staff community events, chamber gatherings, sponsorships, and client appreciation events, and build relationships with Edmonds-area businesses
- Create and schedule social media posts featuring agency news, community involvement, and local partners
- Keep the office running by ordering supplies, coordinating vendors and repairs, organizing records, and helping new team members settle in
- Support other projects as the agency grows
What we're looking for
- A WA Property & Casualty license, or willingness to earn it within 60 days. No insurance experience is needed; we train you and pay for licensing.
- Customer-facing experience of any kind, such as retail, restaurant, campus jobs, internships, or front desk work
- Comfort with social media and an eye for content that looks good and sounds genuine
- Enjoyment of meeting people and representing a brand at events
- Strong organization and follow-through
- Clear, friendly communication by phone, email, and in person
- Comfort learning new software, such as agency management systems, CRM, Microsoft Office, and Canva
- Availability for occasional evening or weekend events

- $20–$23/hour plus bonuses
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage starting the month after 90 days. The agency pays 50% of medical and 100% of dental and vision premiums.
