About the Position...

The Client Service Officer (CSO) is an onsite position and does not have remote opportunities.

The Client Service Officer (CSO) provides comprehensive client service and branch operational support to new and existing Bank clients. This position assists clients with deposit products and services, performs new account and teller functions, completes account maintenance and operational activities, and helps identify banking solutions that meet client needs. The Client Service Officer is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and professional service while maintaining compliance with Bank policies, procedures, security standards, and applicable regulatory requirements. This position works collaboratively with branch leadership and other Bank personnel to support effective branch operations and a positive client experience. When the Client Service Manager is absent, the CSO may be assigned to coordinate day-to-day branch operations and provide guidance to branch staff within established Bank policies and authority.

Education & Certification(s) Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred.
• Relevant banking education or training may be considered in combination with experience.

Experience Required:

• Two (2) or more years of retail banking, branch banking, client service, or related financial services experience preferred.
• Experience with teller operations and consumer and business deposit accounts preferred.
• Prior experience supervising employees or providing day-to-day work direction to staff in a branch banking or comparable client service environment required.
• Experience working directly with clients and performing transaction and account servicing activities.

Skills & Abilities Required:

• Working knowledge of consumer and business deposit products, teller operations, and branch banking practices.
• Understanding of applicable banking regulations, operational procedures, and client identification requirements.
• Strong client service and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to accurately process financial transactions and maintain detailed records.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Ability to identify issues and determine when escalation to branch leadership or another Bank department is appropriate.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with clients, coworkers, management, and other Bank departments.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive financial and personal information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and effectively utilize Bank systems and platforms.
