We are currently seeking a part-time Client Service Representative to join our team. As a CSR you are a key member of the veterinary healthcare team and serve as the primary point of contact for our clients. This position is responsible for providing professional, compassionate and efficient client service while supporting accurate communication, scheduling, financial transactions, medical record management, and daily clinic flow.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can remain professional and compassionate while managing the fast pace and competing priorities of a busy veterinary practice.
Responsibilities:
Greet clients and patients promptly on arrival and provide excellent customer service
Answer phones, emails, and other client communications
Schedule appointments accurately to help maintain efficient clinic flow.
Check clients in and out, and process payments
Maintain accurate client and patient records.
Maintain the lobby in a clean and organized way, so it is a pleasant environment for our clients and patients.
Receive prescription requests, records, client concerns and route them appropriately
Recognize urgent concerns and promptly involve the medical team when needed
Engage in effective and professional communication internally with the medical staff
Handle difficult emotional situations with empathy and professionalism
Follow established clinic policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
Ability to take on additional continuous improvement projects as needed.

Previous veterinary or medical client service experience preferred, but relevant customer-service experience will be considered.
Veterinary Medicine can be busy, emotional, and sometimes unpredictable. We are looking for someone who can provide compassionate client service, while remaining organized, accurate, and supportive of the entire veterinary team.
Part-time staff that work between 20-29 hours per week become eligible for employee personal pet discounts after a 90 day introductory period. Uniform scrubs provided at date of hire. Flexible scheduling also available.
Compensation range commensurate with experience and skillset.
