Job Description

Description:

We know that a positive client experience begins the moment our clients walk through our doors. At Pieper Veterinary, we are looking for a dedicated Veterinary Client Service Representative to join our exceptional team of veterinary professionals at our Mountain Lore location in Plantsville, CT.

We are looking for a Client Service Representative to join a busy 3-doctor veterinary practice. In this role, you will be an essential part of the client experience, helping to keep the front desk running smoothly while managing schedules efficiently, coordinating appointments, and providing exceptional service to our clients and their pets.

As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a vital role in creating a warm, welcoming, and compassionate experience for both pets and the people who love them. Your professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail will help ensure every client feels supported from the moment they enter our waiting room through every step of their visit.

  • Environment of Belonging: With so many specialties at your fingertips, it’s easy to find where you fit. We also promote an environment of inclusivity so that everyone feels welcome.

About You:
We strongly believe that veterinary medicine is a team sport, and our ideal Client Service Representative is someone who feels the same. Communication is at the heart of what we do, and we are looking for someone who can navigate both client and team interactions with confidence, compassion, and professionalism.

In this fast-paced veterinary environment, you will provide exceptional client service, answer phones, schedule appointments, and help facilitate clear communication between our clients and medical team to ensure smooth and efficient hospital operations.

The ideal candidate will remain calm and compassionate during emotional or stressful situations, maintain accuracy and organization when managing schedules, and be comfortable safely handling patients on a leash or in a carrier when needed.

We value collaboration and encourage every team member to speak up, share ideas, and contribute to the success of the hospital.

Experience with EzyVet is a plus but not required.

Anticipated Schedule:
This is a full-time position:
3 days a week / 10-hour shifts (8:15am-6pm)
Thursday and Friday availability is a must.

Saturday rotation and Holidays are required.

Compensation:
$19.00-$20.00 an hour depending on experience.

What’s in it for you?

  • Competitive paid time off & holidays
  • Career Growth & Training Opportunities
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Mental Health Focused Services
  • 401(k) plan with a strong employer match
  • Up to 75% employee pet care discount
  • Annual uniform allowance

We know it’s not always easy to make a move. We treat all interviews as confidential and if a casual chat is more your style, we can do that too! We genuinely love what we do and the people we work with!
