Maine Veterinary Medical Center is looking to add a friendly, compassionate and skilled Client Care Specialist to our team! This is a full-time role, with a required scheduled of Wednesday-Saturday, 8am to 6pm. Availability for this schedule is required.

Maine Veterinary Medical Center (MVMC) is a VECCS level two certified Rarebreed practice that has full in-house laboratory capabilities, a fluoroscopy suite for interventional procedures, a GE 64-slice CT, MRI, respiratory ventilator, in-house telemetric monitoring, ultrasound and endoscopy. MVMC is a multi-specialty hospital offering services in Emergency & Critical Care, Neurology, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Oncology, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Radiology, and Rehabilitation & Sports Medicine. Our collaborative team of experienced emergency clinicians and criticalists enables us to provide advanced, high-quality care to a knowledgeable and dedicated client base. https://mvmc.vet/

OVERVIEW OF WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Greet customers as they arrive and act as the main point of contact for the hospital.
  • Provide day-to-day client services of the front office and support staff throughout the office.
  • Answer a busy multi-line phone system and facilitate calls to relevant departments.
  • Resolve informal client issues and report on these issues to the Client Services Supervisor.
  • Maintain hospital communications via email, interpersonal and PIMs software.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service required: prior veterinary experience desired but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong client relations and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong technical and computer skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter and team player.
  • Strong client service background.
