We are seeking a highly organized, relationship-focused Client Services Manager to help keep our tax office running smoothly while delivering exceptional service to our clients. Our tax firm has built its reputation over nearly 30 years by serving Amish, Mennonite, and other Plain communities, along with individuals and businesses who value personal relationships, trust, and practical advice over transactional service.
This role combines office management, client service, workflow coordination, and administrative leadership. You'll serve as one of the first people clients interact with, ensuring they feel welcomed, informed, and well cared for throughout the tax preparation process.

Welcome clients visiting the office and provide outstanding customer service.
Answer incoming phone calls and coordinate client communications, with the assistant of a receptionist.
Confirm receipt of mailed tax documents and follow up on missing information.
Coordinate workflow and help keep projects moving efficiently.
Manage office schedules, calendars, and daily operations.
Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
Perform bookkeeping and administrative support functions.
Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems.
Support the owner and staff by handling day-to-day operational responsibilities.
Exercise sound judgment while working independently and knowing when to escalate issues.
Previous office management, client service, administrative, or practice management experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to build trust and lasting relationships with clients
High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion
Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new software
Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team
Experience in an accounting, legal, financial services, medical, or professional office is preferred but not required
