Description

The Client Success Manager serves as a client-facing strategic advisor for Nexstar's largest accounts, partnering with Media Strategy and Sales during the pre-sale process to support paid media planning, campaign recommendations and client goals. Post-sale, this role manages day-to-day campaign execution, leads client communication, coordinates cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners, and translates performance data into clear insights and recommendations that support campaign success and long-term client retention.

THE DAILY

  • Serve as the primary client lead, overseeing campaign success and performance throughout the campaign lifecycle.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to support seamless campaign execution and ongoing client success.
  • Support the development of paid media strategies and recommendations aligned with client KPIs.
  • Lead campaign onboarding and coordinate launch readiness across internal teams to ensure successful execution.
  • Resolve campaign issues in a proactive and timely manner, utilizing resources effectively and troubleshooting technical issues when needed.
  • Monitor campaign performance and recommend optimizations to improve outcomes.
  • Demonstrate strong working knowledge of digital paid media channels and industry best practices.
  • Understand campaign budgets and performance metrics to support client and internal discussions.
  • Customize and present client-facing reporting that translates campaign performance into actionable insights and recommendations.

THE ESSENTIALS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, with at least one year of experience in account/campaign management, media planning/buying, or digital media execution.
  • Digital media campaign experience required; prior client-facing experience preferred. Agency or media company experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of paid digital media, including campaign performance, media math, and industry best practices.
  • Exceptional client-facing written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills; thoughtful, articulate, confident and effective.
  • Flexible and solutions-oriented, with the ability to adapt quickly, solve problems, and follow through to get things done.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Empathetic and collaborative, with a strong service mindset toward clients, sales contacts, and team members.
  • Curious and growth-oriented, with a willingness to take on new responsibilities and keep learning as digital media continues to evolve.
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; experience with reporting dashboards, data visualization tools, and campaign performance analysis is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of pixel tracking, tag implementation, and campaign tracking troubleshooting is a plus.
  • This is a Hybrid role with four (4) days in office and one (1) day remote per week.
  • The ideal candidate will be in New York, NY, Irving, TX, or Chicago, IL.

Compensation: $48K/yr - $58K/yr, commensurate with experience.
