About the Position: Lead Associate

We are seeking a driven and ambitious individual to join our team as a Lead Associate. As a vital part of our team, the Lead Associate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts on a part-time basis. This role combines customer service, contract fulfillment, and relationship-driven sales while serving as the primary point of contact for clients. Lead Associate Daily Responsibilities

  • Serve as a part-time Lead Associate and key contact for clients, ensuring their total satisfaction
  • Interact with clients and associates, providing timely, professional, and courteous support
  • Share financial knowledge and educate on business, investment, insurance protection, retirement, savings, and estate planning
  • Develop customized financial plans, guiding clients through budgeting, debt reduction, investing, and retirement planning
  • Grow account value through upsell and cross-sell opportunities and maintain high client satisfaction
  • NO Cold Calling, NO Door Knocking



Requirements of the Lead Associate Role

  • 18 years or older and a U.S. citizen
  • Pass a background check
  • Strong verbal and written communication and customer relationship management skills
  • Must have or obtain within first 2 weeks a Life Producer license
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and basic reporting
  • Ability to interpret account health metrics and prepare concise summaries
  • Experience or aptitude for identifying expansion opportunities

  • Preferred backgrounds include customer service, leadership, and management
  • Education, coaching, military, or elite athlete backgrounds are a great fit!
  • Entrepreneurially-minded, self-motivated, and desire to grow and help people
  • Advanced negotiation techniques or technical troubleshooting skills may be beneficial



Primary Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)

  • Objective 1: Ensure reliable execution of assigned program(s) and workstreams.
  • KR 1.1: Complete 95% of assigned deliverables on or before agreed deadlines for each quarter.
  • KR 1.2: Maintain documented runbooks and process maps for core activities with 90% completeness across required sections.
  • Objective 2: Improve cross-functional coordination and communication.
  • KR 2.1: Reduce average issue resolution time for operational blockers by 30% within two quarters.
  • KR 2.2: Deliver weekly status reports to stakeholders with >98% on-time submission rate.
  • Objective 3: Drive measurable quality and efficiency improvements.
  • KR 3.1: Identify and implement at least three process improvements per year that reduce manual effort or error rates by a quantifiable margin.
  • KR 3.2: Achieve error/defect rates below established thresholds (as defined per project) in 90% of monitored activities.



Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • On-time delivery rate: Percentage of assigned tasks/deliverables completed by committed date.
  • Issue resolution lead time: Average hours/days from issue identification to closure for operational blockers.
  • Process documentation completeness: Percent of required process documentation kept current and meeting minimum standards.
  • Stakeholder satisfaction index: Aggregated feedback score from internal and external stakeholders on responsiveness and execution quality.
  • Error/defect rate: Number of rework incidents or quality exceptions per reporting period for assigned activities.
  • Improvement implementation rate: Number of identified improvements implemented and measured for impact per period.
