CLIMBER / ARBORIST
Role Purpose
The Climber / Arborist performs technical aerial tree work, including pruning and removals, while ensuring safety, precision, and quality workmanship. Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience. If you do not have the required experience, please do not apply.
Core Responsibilities
- Perform tree climbing and aerial operations
- Use chainsaws aloft safely and efficiently
- Execute rigging and controlled lowering techniques
- Conduct pre-job tree and hazard assessments
- Maintain rescue readiness at all times
- Follow ANSI Z133 and company safety standards
Safety Expectations
- Maintain two tie-in points where required
- Follow saw handling and positioning rules
- Participate in aerial rescue drills and planning
- Maintain climbing gear inspection standards
Equipment Authorization
- Climbing systems and aerial devices
- Chainsaws aloft
- Rigging and lowering devices
