Advertising/Posting Title Clinic Assistant Posting Summary
Maintain clinic flow by providing medical support and associated care to patients of the CHWB Student Health Services. Prepare patients for provider visits by bringing the patient to exam room, and collecting and recording their chief complaints, vital signs, medications, allergies, and other relevant information. Provide information to students, parents/guardians, faculty, and staff about health services offered, and how to access care. Answer questions regarding charges related to CHWB services. Support in management and maintenance of online appointment scheduling. Responsible for promoting an inclusive environment for students and staff. Responsible for supporting the mission and philosophy of the CHWB, Division of Student Affairs, and the University of Vermont.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
High School Diploma and two years of medical office experience required. Effective verbal and written communication skills required. Experience with an electronic health record system required.
Desirable Qualifications
Current State of Vermont LNA license, EMT license, or Certification as a Medical Assistant from a qualified program desirable.
Anticipated Pay Range $25-$29 per hour Other Information Special Conditions A probationary period may be required, Background Check required for this position FLSA Non-Exempt Union Position Yes, UVMSU
