Clinic Business Manager / Care Coordinator - Physical Therapy
Job Type: Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week |Monday-Thursday 7:00am-5:00pm; Friday 7:00am-11:00am
Pay: $21.00–$27.00 per hour (Based upon experience)

Baton Rouge Physical Therapy is seeking an organized, dependable, and patient-focused Medical Office Manager / Care Coordinator to lead daily front office operations and help create an exceptional experience for our patients.
This is a great opportunity for someone with medical or physical therapy front office experience who enjoys working with patients, coordinating a busy clinic, supporting a team, and keeping daily operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities:
What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily front desk operations, including patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, referrals, and workflow coordination
- Provide excellent customer service to patients in person, by phone, and via email
- Verify insurance benefits and obtain required authorizations
- Collect co-pays and co-insurance and follow up on outstanding patient balances as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information in the EMR system
- Supervise and support front office team members and assist with training
- Help ensure front office responsibilities are completed accurately and efficiently
- Coordinate with clinic leadership and the Billing team regarding collections, reporting, and front office operations
- Maintain an organized, professional front office environment
- Monitor and manage clinic supply inventory
- Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Perform other duties as assigned and pitch in wherever needed to support our patients and team
Qualifications:
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of front office experience in a physical therapy or medical office
- Experience with medical insurance verification and authorizations
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy healthcare environment
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities, follow directions, and use sound judgment
- Ability to build positive relationships with patients, providers, and coworkers
Preferred:
- 1+ year of supervisory or team lead experience
- Physical therapy or rehabilitation clinic experience
- Experience supporting or leading front office operations
