Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent required. State of Florida CNA Certification required. May substitute one of the following for CNA Certification:- Nursing student currently enrolled in an approved program for preparation of professional nurses - upon successful completion of the didactic and clinical portion of nursing fundamental coursework and successful completion of the Departmental PCA check-off.- Nursing student currently enrolled in an approved program for preparation of Licensed Practical Nurses - upon successful completion of the didactic and clinical portion of nursing fundamental coursework and successful completion of the Departmental PCA check-off.Basic Life Support (CPR) is required (or must be obtained within first month of employment). Person should display initiative, have the ability to multitask and be able to take on responsibilities. Proven ability to problem-solve and be a team member is essential. Understanding of medical terminology preferred. Successful completion of practice-specific training requirements and demonstration of practice-specific competencies.Motor Vehicle Operator Designation:None providedLicensure/Certification/Registration:Must possess and maintain current certification or registration as a CNA. Basic Life Support (CPR) is required (or obtained within 1st month of employment). Must maintain current Basic Life Support (CPR).
