Job Overview
The University of Minnesota Health Clinics and Surgery Center (CSC) clinic coordinator team ensures that patients, their families and guests have an unparalled excellent experience at the CSC. The clinic coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients and their families at the time of check in. Each member of the clinic coordinator team is responsible for ensuring efficient operation of patient check-in and check-out processes for the clinics they support. The team works collaboratively with clinic management and staff to support the business needs of the clinic which include, but is not limited to: working wait/reschedule list, answering clinic phones, working In-basket messages, check-in, check-out, scheduling, clinic faxes, and work queue reports. The clinic coordinator actively uses and embrace technological enhancements to support their role. They maintain a patient friendly and welcoming disposition when interacting with patients and their family. They utilize strong customer service skills and promote the organizational philosophy of patient centered care to proactively meet the needs of all patients and their families during their clinic visits and/or other interactions.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 1.0 FTE 40 hours per week
Monday-Thursday 9:30a-6p
Friday 9-5:30p
Training hours: 8am-4:30pm for 4-6 weeks.
