Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Pediatric Dental Assistant to work at a facility in Baltimore, MD.

Pay Rate: $ / hour

Duties: Job Summary: We are looking for a Pediatric Dental Assistant to support our clinical team in delivering outstanding pediatric dental care. We pride ourselves on creating positive experience for children and families in a modern, team-oriented environment - where patient comfort, safety, and quality care comes first. Job Responsibilities: -Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments for pediatric dental procedures. -Educate children and parents in oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. -Take and process dental radiographs as directed. -Maintain accurate patient records and schedule appointments. -Assist dentists chairside during dental treatments and ensure patient comfort. -Maintain dental supply inventory and ensure instruments are properly sterilized. -Adhere to infection control protocols, OSHA compliance, and safety standards. -Provide reassurance and comfort to pediatric patients before, during and after treatment.

Skills: Required Skills & Experience: -One (1) year of hands-on experience as a Pediatric Dental Assistant. -Ability to build trust and rapport with children and their families. -Proficiency in routine clinical tasks such as taking x-rays, setting up/breaking down rooms, and passing instruments.
