Staffing Proxy has partnered with Fortell AI Hearing to support the expansion of their AI-driven hearing care model into new U.S. markets.

Fortell is a mission-driven hearing health startup redefining whats possible in hearing care through advanced AI technology and proprietary hardware. Their focus is on dramatically improving hearing performance in complex, real-world listening environments-delivering a premium, personalized patient experience.

As Fortell expands beyond Manhattan, they are seeking a Clinic Director & Audiologist to lead the launch of their Boston clinic. This is a rare opportunity for a senior Audiologist to help open a new location from the ground up while continuing to practice full-time clinically.

Position Overview:

In this role, you will serve as both Clinic Director and practicing Audiologist, playing a central role in launching and leading Fortells Boston market. You will help oversee clinic build-out, establish operational workflows, hire and develop the local team, and deliver exceptional patient care.

This position is designed for a highly experienced Audiologist who combines strong clinical expertise with leadership, ownership mindset, and excitement for innovation. The ideal candidate is comfortable wearing multiple hats during the early stages of growth and is motivated by building something exceptional from the start.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Care

  • Provide comprehensive adult diagnostic audiological evaluations
  • Guide patients through personalized, consultative hearing care experiences using Fortells AI-powered hearing solutions
  • Fit, program, verify, and fine-tune hearing aids using best-practice protocols
  • Perform real-ear measurements (REM) and test box verification
  • Deliver follow-up care, troubleshooting, and ongoing patient support
  • Maintain high clinical standards and exceptional patient outcomes

Clinic Leadership & Market Launch

  • Support clinic launch activities, including space build-out and operational readiness
  • Hire, onboard, and mentor clinical and support staff as the local team grows
  • Establish clinic workflows, scheduling standards, and patient experience protocols
  • Oversee day-to-day clinic operations once open
  • Serve as the clinical leader and culture carrier for the Boston location

Collaboration & Growth

  • Partner closely with Fortells leadership, operations, and product teams
  • Share clinical insights and market feedback to inform continuous improvement
  • Uphold and evolve Fortells boutique, high-touch care model as the clinic scales

Requirements

  • Active Audiology license (MA or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • 5+ years of experience fitting and dispensing hearing aids for adult patients
  • Prior leadership, mentorship, or clinic management experience strongly preferred
  • Comfort balancing clinical excellence with operational and business goals
  • Strong consultative communication and patient education skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in building and scaling a clinic
  • Willingness and ability to travel to NYC for onboarding and training

Benefits

  • Base salary: approximately $100,000-$150,000, commensurate with experience
  • Total compensation potential: $130,000-$300,000+, including performance-based incentives
