I am a PTA and have had the privilege of working at Eastern Shore Physical Therapy for over 13 years. Since coming to ESPT, I have learned a lot, such as "thinking outside the box." Both Martin and Kathleen have helped me evolve as a therapist. They taught me that not every patient's diagnosis is a "cookie cutter" diagnosis.
Working at Eastern Shore Physical Therapy is fun. I enjoy the camaraderie of everyone that works at ESPT. All of us work together to provide a warm, welcoming environment for the patients. It is like working with family!

What sets Eastern Shore Physical apart from other outpatient physical therapy clinics is the one on one care they provide, which is what I enjoy most about my job at ESPT. Not having double bookings or overlapping patient care allows me to deliver superior quality of care to my patients.
ESPT completes this by providing 1 on 1 hands on manual therapy that is personalized to improve the overall quality of life for every patient that walks in the door.
I also enjoy having weekly staff meetings to discuss patient care, having access to a class 4 deep tissue laser therapy and lastly working in an environment where management and staff care more about the patient we treat then they do reimbursement.

Having just started my career in physical therapy as a PTA, I look to understand why we do the things we do, and if there is a better way to treat the patient. I leave the clinic each day having learned something. All the therapists are willing to teach what they know, and the clinic has a patient-centered atmosphere. Martin, Kathleen, and Tim are always willing to lend an ear and the knowledge they have. Everyone works together for the good of the patient.

I was able to gain hands on experience with many different manual therapy techniques and always felt like there was knowledge to gain from each different therapist at ESPT. Treatment here is always patient driven, never stagnant, and with an end goal of getting the patient back to where they would like to be.
