Clinic Lead - Full Time- Management Potential

Open Eyes Vision Center is seeking a reliable and compassionate Shift Lead  to join our clinics located in  McKinney, and Frisco. This role combines patient care with administrative support to ensure smooth clinic operations and an excellent patient experience.  Saturdays are required.

Schedule: 5 days per week with Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays required. One weekday of scheduled for Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, based on staffing needs. Our clinic hours are 9:30 am - 6 pm Monday through Saturday with the first patient seen at 9:30 am and the last booking slot at 5:15 pm. Typical staff schedules are 9:30 am - 6 pm, 9 am - 5:30 pm or 10 am - 5 pm.

Salary highly based on experience, although we'll train you if you're just starting out. Bilingual Spanish fluency is a major plus but not required.


Responsibilities


Clinical Duties:

• Prepare exam rooms and sanitize equipment
• Escort patients, record medical history, and perform basic pre-tests for exams
• Educate patients on eye health and contact lens care
• Monitor and restock clinical supplies
• Help maintain clinic cleanliness and stock supplies

Administrative Duties:

• Greet patients and process check in
• Verify benefit information and explain individual benefit co-pays and requirements to patients
• Schedule appointments, contact patients who need to reschedule
• Keep clinic and reception areas clean and welcoming
• Conduct patient check out, receive payments and schedule follow up and referral appointments as needed
• Send referrals to specialists
• Prepare patient charts and gather information prior to the appointment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Prior medical/optometry office experience preferred but not required (training provided))
• Excellent customer service, multitasking, and communication skills
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods; lift up to 25 lbs
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
