As a Clinic Manager at Families First, you are responsible for the success, staff management, and daily operations of the clinic, overseeing the delivery of high-quality care to our young patients and their families. You collaborate closely with medical professionals and senior leadership to translate organizational goals into actionable clinic strategies and initiatives that enhance patient care, clinic protocols, and overall outcomes.Position: Clinic ManagerLocation: Bluffdale, UTType: Full-Time, ExemptPosition SummaryThe Clinic Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation and continued success of a multi-service-line clinic, ensuring efficient, high-quality pediatric care across all services offered at the location. The Clinic Manager leads and develops clinic staff, manages scheduling, staffing, patient flow, and resources, and ensures that staff follow clinic policies and applicable healthcare regulations.Partnering closely with Service Line Leads, Regional Directors, and Directors, the Clinic Manager implements and improves clinic processes, manages the clinic budget, and serves as the primary on-site leader accountable for patient experience, team performance, and operational compliance.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesClinic OperationsOversee daily clinic operations to guarantee efficiency and smooth functioning.Manage scheduling, staffing, and patient flow to optimize productivity and patient care.Monitor and maintain clinic inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure uninterrupted operations.Ensure full provider coverage to meet patient demand and maintain service capacity.Coordinate operations across the clinic's service lines to support seamless patient care.Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead, guide, and develop a team of clinic employees to foster a cohesive, high-performing environment.Nurture a positive work atmosphere that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and professional growth.Conduct performance management, coaching, and recognition in partnership with HR.Support onboarding and ongoing training of clinic staff.Patient ExperienceAddress patient inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and effectively to ensure patient satisfaction.Monitor patient experience indicators and implement improvements.Ensure a welcoming, safe, and responsive environment for patients and families.Compliance & QualityImplement and enforce clinic policies and procedures in accordance with industry standards.Ensure clinic staff follow applicable healthcare regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, CLIA, VFC) in daily operations.Partner with Quality & Compliance staff to maintain audit readiness and address findings.Uphold the highest standards of care and patient safety across the clinic.Financial ManagementManage the clinic budget for resource optimization and financial sustainability.Monitor clinic financial performance and support achievement of financial goals.Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Service Line Leads and Directors to ensure processes are implemented effectively and improved when needed.Collaborate with Regional Directors on staffing, performance, and strategic initiatives.Support roll-out of organization-wide programs and process changes at the clinic level.Qualifications3+ years of healthcare operations experience, with prior supervisory or management experience preferred.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Working knowledge of clinic operations, scheduling, and healthcare compliance standards.Ability to manage budgets and interpret operational and financial data.Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred.Work EnvironmentOutpatient pediatric clinic setting with frequent interaction with patients, families, and staff.Fast-paced environment with periods of high activity.May require travel between clinic locations for coverage, training, or meetings.Occasional evening or weekend availability for operational needs.Physical RequirementsAbility to sit, stand, and walk throughout the clinic for extended periods.Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.Manual dexterity for computer use and documentation.Sufficient hearing and verbal communication for in-person and phone interactions.If you are an enthusiastic individual looking to make a meaningful impact on our patients' lives, we encourage you to apply.
