Job Description Summary
To effectively and efficiently manage and direct clinic personnel functions working closely with the Director or Administrator and the medical Provider(s) to ensure that the clinic is adhering to the standardized hospital policies and to assure financial accountability through balance productivity and cost containment. This position directly oversees and supervises all non-clinical staff in the clinic and provides administrative supervision of the clinical staff.

Personal management skills
Working knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS coding
Knowledge of the features and functions of billing office computer system
Experience in accounts receivable management
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
Ability to communicate effectively in emergency situations
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with office staff, clinic staff and hospital staff
Working knowledge of Clinicians or experience with clinical and clerical personnel
Demonstrates knowledge of patient rights and responsibilities as applicable to the health care environment
Leadership ability in operational setting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clinic staff, interdepartmental staff and physicians
Strong technical/computer skills
Demonstrates appropriate delegation and coordination of tasks and duties in the operations of physician clinic, using appropriate organizational/priority setting skills
Recognizes and employs team efforts to achieve departmental/organizational goals.
