Clinic Manager – EMT, Paramedic or LPN

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00am–1:00pm
Position Type: Full-Time
Pay: Starting from $30.00/hour, with additional earning potential based on experience and licensure

Medcor is looking to hire a full-time EMT, Paramedic, or LPN to serve as the Clinic Manager in our employer-based occupational health clinic in Rochelle, IL.

This is a great opportunity for an EMT, Paramedic, or LPN who enjoys hands-on patient care but is looking for a more consistent Monday–Friday schedule and the opportunity to take ownership of an onsite clinic.

As the Clinic Manager, you'll provide clinical care to employees while overseeing the day-to-day operations of the clinic. You'll work closely with Medcor leadership and key client partners in Safety, Human Resources, and Operations to help keep employees healthy, safe, and productive.

A Typical Day in the Life of a Medcor Clinic Manager

Clinical Care & Injury Management

• Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses using Medcor's evidence-based clinical protocols

• Provide first aid, triage, and appropriate treatment for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses

• Respond to workplace medical emergencies and coordinate additional care when necessary

• Support ongoing workers' compensation case management

• Assist with Return-to-Work (RTW) programs and treatment plan monitoring

• Coordinate care and communicate with outside medical providers when appropriate

• Perform pre-employment and post-offer screenings

• Conduct Physical Assessment Testing (PATs)

Clinic Operations & Leadership

• Manage daily clinic operations, workflows, scheduling, and logistics

• Serve as a trusted healthcare resource for employees and client leadership

• Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical records and other systems

• Support OSHA recordkeeping and other required documentation

• Partner with Health, Safety, Environmental, Human Resources, and Benefits professionals

• Support onsite employee health, safety, and wellness initiatives

• Build strong relationships with employees, client stakeholders, and the Medcor team

• Provide exceptional customer service to our client and their employees

What You'll Need

• Current EMT, Paramedic, or LPN licensure/certification applicable to the position

• Current CPR/BLS certification

• Ability to independently manage day-to-day clinic responsibilities

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Comfortable using computers, electronic medical records, and other technology

• Ability to lift a 50-pound emergency response bag

• A positive, professional, and patient-focused approach

• Passion for providing excellent care and creating a positive employee experience

It's a Plus If You Have

• Occupational health or workplace clinic experience

• Emergency medicine, EMS, urgent care, or critical care experience

• Previous leadership, clinic management, or case management experience

• Workers' compensation or Return-to-Work experience
