Clinic Manager - Orthopedics and Sports Medicine

BayCare Clinic Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is looking for a Clinic Manager to join our team in Green Bay, WI. We’re looking for a compassionate, thoughtful candidate who wants to contribute to a positive experience for all our patients. The typical hours for this role are Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm. No Holidays! No Weekends!

BayCare Clinic is a successful, dynamic group comprised of 19 specialties. We are a physician-owned entity with joint ownership in Aurora BayCare Medical Center, a 167-bed hospital located in Green Bay, WI, offering us a built-in referral base. The Job: 

• Responsible for the overall functions of the department and the supervision of the staff.
• Manages all patient care areas to enhance patient and staff satisfaction.
• Provides and promotes positive customer service and public relations.
• Models and promotes optimal conditions for patient treatment with particular attention to issues of patient confidentiality, respectful care and customer service.
• Ensures needs of patients and physicians are met to ensure efficient operation in patient care areas.
• Assists with employee hiring and helps develop training programs & process to improve operational efficiency.
• Responsible for maintaining positive employee relations, while respecting and maintaining confidentiality.
• Provides leadership, acts as a mentor to staff and provides coaching and counseling to staff as needed.
• Establishes and implements performance standards for direct reports.
• Conducts performance evaluations on at least an annual basis per company policy.
• Responsible for all program development with focus on the most current and advanced clinical techniques for optimal patient care.
• Provides leadership in development of clinic innovations in all areas of technology, patient care and service.
• Coordinates and reviews clinical staff schedules, meetings, staffing requirements.
• Monitors patient appointments, re-calls and reports, adjusting schedules/scheduling appointments when necessary.
• Works with Practice Administrator to ensure compliance with federal & state laws, as well as BCC/BCHS policies.
• Maintains petty cash.
• Respects and maintains confidentiality.
• Works in a safe, compliant and ethical manner at all times.

The Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Business or equivalent degree required.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills are required.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Electronic Medical Record system.
• 2 years of clinical and supervisory experience required, 5+ preferred.
