Position Summary
We are seeking a professional, organized, and dependable individual to join one of our client's front offices. This position serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors and plays an important role in maintaining efficient daily clinic operations. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and phone communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly and direct calls appropriately
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient schedules
- Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information
- Manage patient check-in and check-out procedures
- Maintain organized records, files, and office documentation
- Communicate effectively with providers, clinical staff, and patients
- Assist with administrative and clerical duties as needed
- Ensure confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times
- Support efficient daily clinic workflow and patient experience
Qualifications
- Previous clinic, medical office, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional phone etiquette and customer service abilities
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable attendance and professional appearance required
